GENERAL CONDITIONS. Entries for handicap, events must be * accompanied by a written statement of < the performances since the ‘23rd December. 1891. Entries for handicap events will ; close on FRIDAY, the 11th January next, at 8 p.in., to be delivered into the hands of the Secretary, by post or otherwise. Handicaps will he published on Wednesday, the 16th January. Acceptances for Handicaps will close on SATUR- 1 DAY, thi 19th January, at H p.m. to be delivered! into the hands of the Secretary, by post ojr otherwise. Any competitor found guilty of seeding in false performances, running under an assumed name, or practising any fraud, shall be disqualified for life. The Committee res«ve the right to require any competitor! either before or after any event, to Jiake a declaration as to his identity and the correctness of his description of his ierformances. The Committee may disqualify any competitor either before or after any event who shall refuse to make the required declaration, and he shall not bd entitled to claim any prize. Entries will be received and sports conducted under the rules of the Fielding Athletic Sports. If there .are not three entries or more, the event will not take place. All events to be started punctually to | time, to be ixed by the Committee, a»d | notified on the course, j Any comnetitor leaving the mark before the pistol ih fired will be put back one yard for each offence. All dispute- will be decided by the Committee, and their decision will bo final. The Committee reserve the right to run any race iin'ler 300 yards in heats. All protests to be lodged with the See* retary by eight o’clock on the evening of the sports, accompanied with a feo of JOs; to be forfeited if the protest bo deemed frivolous.
