STOCK REPORT. Messrs Abraham and Williams' stock report:— At Palmerston on the 9th inst. sheep mistered in moderate numbers—the demand was somewhat slow at first, but improved as the sale progressed. Fat cheep still rule at low rates. Sound sheep meet with an unsatisfied demand, but without any advance in price. Aged ewes of an inferior description are difficult to quit. Cattle in fair supply were steady throughout, and kept last week's prices. With the exception of an old beast or two, and some ewes and laiuba everything sold.

Sheep.—Hoggets in their wool, 10m ; shorn do.. 6s 9d ; others, os to 5s 6d; fat ewes, 5* lOd to 6s 6d ; prime do., 7s Id ; forward ewes, 5* ; ewes with lambs, all counted, 2s l()$d to 8s 3d.

Messrs Simms and Mowleiu’s report:— We held our first snle in the Masterton yares on Thursday, when we wore favored with large entries in both sheep and cattle, all were disposed of at satisfactory prices with the exception of one pen of cows and calves at foot.

Fat sb* ep.—Here in good demand, and all yarded were readily disposed of. Ewes brought Ha to Hs 6d ; wethers, Hm 6d to 7a. Messrs Lowes and lorns report at the clearing sale at Te Ore Ore on Wednesday the attendance was ver> large and representative. The stock, being of good quality, in good condition, and well classed and without reserve, the whole sold under the hammer at sound market rates.
