TT'ING SALISBURY is a massive horse with immense bone o' the finest quality, abundant hair of the right sort, and combining fine quality and perfect symmetry with great power, is of a rich brown color, with four white stockings, good sound feet, and stands well on his legs. Height, 16 hands 8 inches. Bred by Mr R. Charters, of Taieri, out of Glasgow Maggie by Lord Salisbury (see pedigree cards). Lord Salisbury was never beaten as a prize-taker in Scotland or New Zealand, and Glasgow Maggie is reputed the best mare in New Zealand.
