STOCK REPORT.
Messrs I,owes and lorns report as follows : We held eur usual fortnightly sale a tour yards on Friday to a good attendance of the publio. The entries were not so Wg»< na usual, although cattle were yarded in excess of number* advertised, beet being well represented. Oun line of hoggets, tor which there were numerous enquiries, did not come forward. This class rf sheep is much in request and we can find a reads market ter any good hues available. The following prices were oh taiued : Fat wethers. lls fid; hogget*, fairly good, 9s; tit bullock*, very plain, from l.fi 7a fid to Lfi 13s fid ; fat heifers, als,) plain, 1.5 12 ; 3 year old steers. Lfi 2s fid ; 18 month steers, 1.2 19s; wen tiers, 81a; dairy sown, L 4 10s t « l.fi. The demand for young pigs his greatly revive,!. \Ye sold we alters at from J--* fid to 11s fid. Uorses were few uud little sought after.
