At the Bicycle Carnival the one mile championship of Australia was won by Kerr (N.S.W), and Brown (N.S.W.) 2nd. The Ringarooma. Sydney, September 15. News from Noumea states that H.M.S. Ringarooma was floated off the reef with the aid of H.M.S. Wallaroo. She lias only received slight damage. Received 6 p.m. Sydney, September 16. The Ringarooma came off the reef with the assistance of the French warship Duchaffault and the steamer Crovdon. and is not making much water. Her hull is badly damaged, but her under skin is not injured. She is now lying in port Sand wich, taking in her guns and stores, and will probably proceed to Noumea in company with H.M.S. Orlando and Wallaroo, and after effecting temporary ' repairs will come on to Sydney.
