A meeting of the committee of the aboe* Club was held on the 6th ult. It was decided to open the season on Wednesday. 19th, with a competition for (•las* trophie*. A challenge was read from the Nerth Wairarapa Ride Club to fire a match at the end of this month or the beginning of October, but it was thought desirable le n*k the Wairarapa Club to alter tiie date to the end of October, wiisn this Club would be quite willing tc accept the challenge.
