Education Board.
Wblunotom, This Day. Tha petition to the Education Board asking that tha services of Miss Baas* b* retained as infant mistress at Pahiatua, was presented this morning by Mr Hagg, who addressed the member* at length in support of tha taachar. Tha Chairman opposed tha proposal maintaining that the school had suffered and the children should have first consideration. After a very brief discussion Mr Young agreed, as several member* war* absent, to hia motion to rescind tha Board’s resolution r* Miss Baas* till next masting.
