at their Briek Mart, Pahiatua, next Saturday, 2nd June, 1894, at 12.80 o’clock sharp, will offer the best bargains ever sold in Pahiatua, comprising— Large and varied assortment 01 drapery, flannels, prints, dress tweeds, homespuns, black serges, toilet covers, gents' riding pants, crockery assorted, afternoon tea sets, lot cutlery, knives and forks, etc., steel trunks, galvanised bath, lot of goodboeks, including Popular Educator (6 vols.), Webster's oomplete dictionary (illustrated 1759 pages), Cook's Lectures on biology, transcendentalism, orthodoxy, conscience, heredity and marriage (in 2 vols.) Also—Men’s and women's boots, shoes, and slippers. Also—A large number of fowls and turkuys.

The auctioneer calls the special attention of country buyer* to thi* ■ale, which, to *uit their convenience, will start at 12.80 o’clock next Saturday. Special provision will be made for ladies next Saturday. Gentleman as* respectfully requested either to lose their pipes or leave them at home, a* smoking will not be allowed inside the mart.
