[By Telegraph—Prcsa Association.] Auckland, This day. It appears the steamer Chelmsford had left Tutataka on Friday morning to work Whonanaki but fiuding the weather too severe to enable them to reach there the steamer returned to Tutukaka and anchored. During the night a heavy sea rolled into the harbor and the vessel commenced to drag, eventually being driven on the beach. A contract has been let for repairing and lloating the Chelmsford and it is expected the work will be completed in about a fortnight.
