Strike of Cabmen. London, May 15. Seveu thousand London cabmen strike to-morrow unless the owners reduce the hiring charge to three shillings per day. Four thousand of the cabmen have declined to join in the strike movement. National Liberal Convention. London, May 15. The national Liberal Federation has convened a conference in Leeds on the 20th of next month to consider the attitude j adopted by the House of Lords. Cholera in Russia. St. Petersburg, May 15. The great Aurora mine in Michigan is on fire, and many of the miners who were below have been unable to escape.
