The Horses of the Found. By Electric Telegraph. —Copyright. Per Press Association. Sydn'rt, April 23. Cummings, suspected on being concerned in the Barraba murder, served five years early in the “eighties” for horse-stealing. McManus, a well-known resident of Gnnnedah, has been arrested on a charge of murder of Mr McKay. A hat and coat found in his possession answer to the de scription of those worn by one of the murderers. He has been remanded to Barraba. Two others who were arrested proved an alibi, and were discharged. Received 11.20 a.m. SfDKBT, This day. The horses on which the murderers escaped from Barruba have been found twenty Five miles from the township with their throat* cut. A madman was also found near th# same spot.
