Pahiatua Football Club.
Annual General Meeting. The annual general meeting of members i of the Pahiatua Football Club was held on Monday evening last. About 35 members were present. Mr W. 11. Hawkins occupied the chair. RF.TORT AND BALANCE SHEET. Xo annual report and balance sheet was presented, and it was decided to hand over the books and papers to Mr G. 11. Smith for inspection. A committee was appointed to draw up a balance sheet. GROUND. A letter was read from the Secretary of the Athletic Society, notifying acceptance of the Club’s offer of £5 for use of the j ground during the season. NEW MEMBERS. I Several new members were elected to I the Club. OFFICERS. , The election of officers for the ensuing year resulted as follow :—Patron. Mr Hall; president, Mr CL H. Smith ; vicepresidents, Messrs Beetham, Vile, Bottomley, Breeds, Tosswill, and Dr Gault ; captain. Mr O. Knight; vice-captain. Mr A. Fashion : hon. secretary, Mr 11. G. Perhani; hon. treasurer, Mr Hawkins; management committee, Messrs Wood, Skinner. Dash, Bowse, E. Lewis, H. Vile, \V. Hall; selection committee, Messrs Knight, Ilawkius. and Baillie delegates to Bush Rugby Union, Messrs Hawkins, Cushion, and Skinner; auditors, Messrs , Briggs, and 11. Knight. REFEREES. It was resolved that the Rev. Father McKenna and Mr Baillie be recommended to tlie Rugby Union for appointment as referees for the Club in cup matches. subscription. The annual subscription was fixed at five shillings, members' tickets to admit to matches when charges are made. ANNUAL BALL. The matter of the annual ball was loft in the hands of tbe management comi inittee.
