PROPOSED LOAN No. 40—KAITAWA RIDGE AND OTHER ROADS. is hereby given that it is IAI the intention of tho Pahiatua County Council, with the consent of the ratepayers interested, to raise a loan of Three Thousand Pounds under “ The Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 188(5, ” for the purpo ,o of forming and metalling the whole of the Kaitawa Itidgo Road; the Mount Marchant Road from the end of the Kaitawa Ridge Road to road peg XXI in front of section~ 2 and 33, Block 11, Puketoi; the Puketoi Road from its junction with the Mount Marchant Road to the boundary between sections 12 and 5, Puketoi S. D., and the Pori Road—all that is within the County. Cost of engineering, raising loan, and clerical expenses to be paid out of loan.

To meet the interest and annual charges of the said loan it is proposed to strike a special rate of Fourpence Three Farthings in rho Pound on the rateable value of the following sections:—Sections 58, 69, GO, 64, 65, 66, Block XII, Makun ; sections 6, 18, 14, 15, 16 and half of 7, Block I, Pukctoi ; sections 2,8, 5,6, 12, 88, that part of section 7 within the County, and 300 acres of section 4, all in Block 11, Pukctoi; also all that portion of Nelson’s iand in block V, Puketoi within the County (adjoining section 13, Block I, Puketoi).
