New Zealand v. New Soath Wales. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch. This Day. New South Wales made 147 ; Austin 43; Robertson took 6 wickets for 76, Lsbatt 1 for 16. Lawton 2 for 19. The latter bowled 33 overs for 29 run*. New Zealand—Cuff, 19; De Mans, not j out, 29. Mills, of Auckland, only made 6 i and Lawton 1. The scoring was veryslow, the New Zealand bowling being excellent. About 3000 people are present. Later. Holdship was bowled by Austin at 63, and Labatt took his place. The Wellington man made 7. Labatt was bowled by Austin for 7. Lawrence, after being missed, waa caught for 6. Score —89 for 6. At lunch New Zealand had lost 9 wieketa for 108, De Maus 45.
