Mangatainoka Band Sports.
A meeting of the committee ot the Mangatainoka Band Sport* was held last advening. The following aucceasful tenders for privileges w*re received : Shooting gallery, Mr J- Johnson. ss; temperance drink*. Mr I'. Holder, £1 Ifis ; luncheon booth. Mr C. Benzie. XI 10s; fruit and fane} goods. Mr C. Benaie, 15s. It w*s resolve 1 that hurdle* he 3ft 3in high. Keaolved that Secretary write to School Committee asking them to grant a day's holiday to children on dav of sport*. Bc*olv#d that another worktng bee meet on sports ground on Saturday next at 130 p.m to finish ground. Scratch running for children will be got ap during the day.
