THE ROYAL SHOW
WELLINGTON, June 23. Mr L. R. C. Macfarlane, of Culverden, was re-elected president of the Royal Agricultural Society at the annual meeting yesterday. *The vice-pre-sidents are:—Messrs' M. A. Eliot (Palmerston North), A. S. Holmes (Waimahaka) ; council—Messrs W. Howard Booth (Carterton), J. Knight (Feilding), W. Perry (Masterton), "11. B. Stuckey (Dannevirke), J. Begg (Dunedin), A. Hodgson (Blenheim R C. C. Jarman (Canterbury), and W. J. Jenkins (Sheffield) ; treasurer, Sir William D. Hunt. It was decided that the Royal Show of 1933 should be held at Invercargill. In regard to the next Royal Show" in the North Island, following this year’s show at Palmerston North in November, the council decided to confer with the Auckland Association.
