THRESHING MILL WORKERS. CHRISTCHURCH, February 10. A reduction in the men’s wages at the rate of old hourly, with a corresponding reduction in piecework, is the principal feature of the new award for the Nortn Canterbury threshing mills. Some im-. portant amendments to the conditions a» applying to American mills are included. These amendments apply also to the South Canterbury mills.
