A general survey over the whole country had been made, and he was able to report that the goats were not nearly so numerous as prior to this season, stated the chief ranger (Mr R. W. Larsen) in his report to the Egmont National Park Board the other morning. He was convinced that the goat problem was now well in hand. _ The total number of goats destroyed in the park was 4581.
