SERIOUS INJURIES INFLICTED
HUSBAND COMMITS SUICIDE. WANGANUI, August 18
A Maori named Korika. of Koriniti, on the Wanganui River, attacked his wife with a piece of wood last night, and then cut his own throat. The man died, but the woman survived; She suffered a broken arm and bruises, and was later brought to the Wanganui Hospitak Koriniti' is about 40’ miles from Wanganui and' is situated in rough country The deceased is alleged to have been touring with a company making a Maori movie picture.
