WORLD TRAVELLERS MEET IN NOVEL AIR RACE ROUND THE WORLD.
Two Japanese journalists, Mr S. Shingu and Mr F. Fukuma, are racing round the world from Japan to Japan by ordinary air route service, but in opposite directions. They met at Croydon Air Port, London, for fe, MBk t n 4 h °V r ’ f uku r ma having arrived from Paris, and Mr Shingu was about to leave for Berlin. Mr Shingu had taken 19 days from Osaka, Japan, travelling via America, and Mr Fukuma had Mr V dayS T- T ° k, °’ via Siberia. MrJG Fukuma (on ground) is greeting his competitor, Mr 5. Shingu, on their meeting at Croydon Aerodrome lhe Hon. Mrs Victor Bruce, who met the airmen, is seen with them.
