“In Germany there is a law that if any person cut down a tree he must plant two in its place. ..It is a pity that we have not such a law in New Zealand,” said the chairman of the Ouruhia Domain Board (Mr W. P. Spencer), at an arbour day ceremony, when children from tire Ouruhia School assembled to plant trees around the park of that name.
