At a meeting of the Taieri Poultry Society at Mosgiel on Friday evening the secretary (Mr John Williamson) sumrnitted a statement of the annual show held a few weeks ago. This showed a credit balance. Members of committee present expressed their satisfaction with the success of their annual fixture in the present depressed state of the times. The support accorded by the public was duly acknowledged, and also the services of all who had assisted. The draw for the Victory Shield took place. Misses F. and N. Walker being declared the winners.
