OLD WRITERS’ WEEK.
Old Writers’ Week this year is from [December 23 to December 30. All letters (must reach Dot. care of the Editor, 'Otago Witness, Dunedin, not later than Thursday’, December 18. to allow for printing in the Old Writers’ Week issue, and must be marked “ Old Writers’ Week.”
Dear Old ‘Writers, —Last year you responded to my appeal in a manner truly worthy of the Little Folk motto. Many of you were busy or worried or away on holiday, but you remembered our famous ideal, “We write for the Benefit of Others, not for Ourselves," and lived up to it. 1930 has been “full of a number of things ’’ which surely need discussing and talking over. We are ’ anxiously-waiting your ideas and thoughts on the various happenings of the times. Begin to write as soon as you like, for letters never come too early for me.— Your sincere friend, DOT.
