VITAL STATISTICS.
DUNEDIN DISTRICT. During the month of September 119 births, 103 deaths, and 48 marriages were registered in Dunedin, compared with 147 births 90 deaths, and 62 marriages in September of last year. The figures for the September quarter of 1930, compared with those for the corresponding quarter of 1929 were as follows: —Births 369 (394), deaths 307 (287), marriages 144 (163). Ninety-one marriages were preformed by the registrar during the past nine months, compared with 82 during the corresponding period of last year. CHRISTCHURCH. CHRISTCHURCH, September 30.
