Small children can usually be depended upon to give really amusing ansivers to questions put to them. This was demonstrated at one of Wellington’s free kindergartens recently (says the Dominion), when a teacher, preparatory to giving a lesson on apples, asked- her class where apples came from. One small child looked at .her with contemptuous eyes, and in a voice indicating scorn, replied: “From the Chinamen! ’’
