Patent rights for a new device for preventing seasickness have been granted to Commander O. L. Parsons, of the British Navy, by the French Ministry of Commerce. Suspended bunks, chairs, and tables swinging from the ceiling by means of straps and springs, and even suspended rooms, will prevent seasickness, according to the commander.
