MARKETING OF FRUIT.
A VICE-REGAL CHALLENGE CUP. WELLINGTON, September 26.
The Minister of Agriculture (Air A J. Alurdoch) has been advised by the Governor-General that if it would be in any way helpful in encouraging competition in the grading, packing and preserving of high-grade fruit for the British markets, His Excellency will be very pleased to present a silver challenge cup to be competed for in-1931. and successive years at the Imperial Fruit Show, in such competition, and subject to such conditions as the Fruit Control Board may determine. His Excellency’s offer has been gratefully accepted.
