It is understood from the management of the Linton Coal Company that owing to the recent go-slow policy in force in the Linton mine outside coal supplies have had to be obtained to meet the requirements of the markets (reports the Southland Times) i It is stated that a continuance of such a state of affairs will mean generaLunemployment and a resultant considerable loss of wages in the Ohai district in the near future.
