TOUR OF SOUTH ISLAND.
IMPRESSED WITH GRANDEUR OF SCENERY.
AUCKLAND, February 27 \ ery well satisfied with his month’s tour of New Zealand, Lord Hilliimdou a noted banker from the Old Country’ arrived in Auckland this morning accompanied by. Lady Hillingdon. He was greatly impressed by the wonderful fishing at Taupo, where he and Lady Hillingdon had good sport among the trout. They leave Auckland to-morrow for the Bay of Islands, where they intend trying their luck among the swordfish and makos. During their tour of the South Is’and b.v motor car, they were much impressed bv the grandeur of the Southern Alps and Aew Zealand’s wonderful bush. Lord and Lady Hillingdon will leave bj’ the next Vancouver boat on their return to England.
