DEEP-SEA FISHING.
VALUABLE ASSET TO DOMINION. „ AUCKLAND, February 25. Hawaii sends £lO,OOO of its products Z ? ak ? nd annually while it buys £l3O 000 of New Zealand products, so it can be seen that the balance in trade is much in favour of the Dominion.” tins statement was made by Air Charles xt* razier, of Honolulu, who arrived in New Zealand by the Aorangi to bring messages of goodwill from tire Honolulu Rotary Club to Rotarians in New Zealand. He will attend the annual conference of the New Zealand Rotary Clubs in Christchurch next month. Later he will probably enjoy deep sea fishing at Russell.
Your deep sea fishing is going to attract people from all parts of the world, added Mr Frazier. “As an instance of the interest which is being taken in it I. might say that while in London L saw- photographs depicting the sport exhibited in the Strand, and they- were attractingthe attention of thousands of people. Your sword-fishing, I feel, is going to bring a better class of tourist who has money to spend and, does not look for too many luxuries”
