RECIPIENT OF NATIVE WELCOMES, WANGANUI, March I.
The Governor-General and Lady Alicl Fergusson arrived here to-night from Taumarunui, via the river. They called at several Native settlements, where speeches of welcome were made. In his address to the Natives, Sir Charles urged a revival of Native arts. Their Excellencies to-night attended the Dominion hand contest.
