SMITH.—On December 2, 1928, at Dunedin, George, beloved husband of the late Sarah Smith, of 13 Waverly street, Dunedin South ; aged 55 years. STEEL.—On December 1, at the residence of her daughter (Mrs Thompson), 40 Calder street, St. Kilda, Annie Brodie Anslie, wife of William Alexander Steel; in her seventy-fourth year. Deeply mourned. PLEW.—On November 25, 1928, at her residence, Paretai, Margaret, the beloved wife of Frederick Plew; in her fifty-second year. Deeply regretted. THORPE. —On November 29, 1928, at his residence. Nen street, Oamaru, John, dearly beloved husband of Mary Thorpe; in his seventy-fifth yeal WHITE. —On November 29, at Timaru (result of an accident), Thomas, dearly loved husband of Flora Cameron White and second son of Margaret and the late William White, of Merton ; in his fifty-fourth year. Deeply mourned.
