. In response to a question whether the honey flow in the north was scattered or more or less continuous during the-sea-' son, Mr G. V. Westbrook, in the course of an address on bee-keeping recently at the Whangarei Y.M.CA. Hall, stated that though be could not definitely answer the question -with regard to the north, in the Bay of Plenty, the climate of which was practically the same, from the end of November to January there was a fairly continuous flow (reports the Northern Advocate). A shower every three days was what was wanted for a good flow. Last season, owing to the dryness, very little honey was obtained after December.
