A LABOURER’S INJURIES.
CITY CORPORATION SUED. WELLINGTON, September 21. The case in which Albert Robert Jameg Bradford, a labourer, sued the City Corporation for £1164 damages, resulting from injuries received from a tram conductor when attempting to put him off a car on December 8, was concluded today in the Supreme Court. Mr M'Gilivray, tramway traffic manager, gave evdience that after interviewing plaintiff subsequent to the incident and having a doctor’s report, he considered that Bradford was entitled to some consideration and an offer of £5 10s was accepted in full settlement. His Honor said it was clear that the conductor had made a mistake and the defendant would have to pay for it. He gave iudsrment for £5OO and costs. E
