After nearly two months’ consideration of the report of the Transport Commission, Auckland City Council, has agreed unreservedly to carry out the commission’s findings, and, subject to the approval oi ratepayers, to hand jvei the city’s assets in the tramways and bus services to the Metropolitan Trrn-;-.o:t Board. With this object in view steps will be taken to put the necessary legislation through Parliament this session in order that no time need be lost inx euomitting the proposals to a poll.
