Liverpool futures: October, 9s Id and 7s 8d; December, 9s Ifd; March, Ss 2|d. TALLOW MARKET. LONDON. August 29. Tallow sales: 678 casks offered and 203 Bold. Prices unchanged. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from London: — Tallow. —There is a fair demand. Current quotations are: —Good mutton, 42s 6d to 435; good beef. 41s 6d to 425; good mixed, 41s 6d to 425; gut, 36s 6d to 39s 3d per cwt. Messrs Dalgety and Co. advise having received the following cablegram from London:— Tallow. —At the London tallow sales 678 casks of tallow were offered and 230 ■old. Prices are unchanged. DOMINION APPLES. CONTROL BOARD’S ACTIVITIES. LONDON, August 29. Mr Stephens, of the New Zealand Fruit Control Boad, is touring Copenhagen, Gothenburg, and Oslo to introduce Dominion apples next year. LONDON, August 30. Wheat cargoes are dull. They eased 3d on lower American advices, and increased on Canadian estimates. Parcels are quiet and the demand is irregular. Liverpoo l futures: October, 8s U|d; December, 9s o£d to 9s 2Jd. Wheat: The spot trade is quiet. Australian, ex shin. 46s 6d. Flour: Slow. Australian,- ex store, 33s to 345. Oats: Steadier.
