HOTEL LICENSEE FINED. AUCKLAND, August 31. Alexander Burr, licensee of th<J Huapai Hotel was fined the minimum} £2O, on each of four charges of selling liquor not true to label. On four similar charges John G. M'Gregor pleaded not guilty. The defence was a denial of adulteration. It was stated that there had been trouble with an employee since he was dismissed. When M’Gregor heard that samples had been taken he went to the Health Department and stated that; there had been a “ frame-up.” Decision was reserved
