THE RADIO INSTITUTE.
OPPOSITION - IN WELLINGTON WELLINGTON, August 30. At a meeting of the executive of the Amateur Radio Society of Wellington the following motion concerning the new Radio Institute was carried after mature consideration:— “ That this committee cannot see its way to endorse the proposal to form a radio institute of New Zealand.” It was thought that broadcast listeners could best attain their particular aims and objects by a federation of all existing radio societies and listeners’ leagues.
