The annual conference of the New Zealand Railways Officers’ Institute terminated on Thursday. The following office-bearers were elected for the ensuing year:—President, Mr V. R. J. Stanley (re-elected); vice-presidents— Messrs R. S. Skinner, E. W. Barnes, M. E. Carroll, and J. J. M'Aloon; treasurer, Mr L. Barclay; Executive Committee— Messrs V. C. Hardie, P. D. Clark, A. S. Henderson, W. A. Finlayson, E. W. M‘Kane, C. Gallagher, and J. W. Fergie. Steps are being taken to form a branch of the Junior Reform League in Christehurcr'
