MATHIE.—On August 1, 1928, at Auckland, Alexander Mathie, late of N.Z. Railways, and South Dunedin and St. Kilda Fire Brigades ; aged 84. MOORE. —On August 3, 1928, at her residence, 148 King street, Elizabeth Moore; in her seventy-third year. “At rest.” O'CONNELL. —On August 3, 1928, at his residence. Gordon road, North Taieri. John Francis, beloved husband of Mary Veronica O’Connell, late Barr street. Mornington ; aged 55 years. R.I.P.
