MIDWIFERY.
EXAMINATION RESULTS OTAGO AND SOUTHLAND SUCCESSES. Results of the State midwifery examinations held in April. 1928, are as follow :—■ Passed top for New Zealand-’ Sinclair, Isobel M. M., St. Helens Hospital, Invercargill. Passed with 90 per cent, and over: Bentham, Hazel, Batchelor Hospital, Dunedin; Marshall, Florence Ivy, St. Helens Hospital, Christchurch; Mallon, Annie M., St. Helens Hospitah Invercargill. Passed with 75 per cent, and over: Peach, Martha, St. Helens Hospital, Dunedin. Also successful: Sheed.v, Mary, St. Helens Hospital, Invercargill. MATERNITY EXAMINATION. Results of the State maternity nurses’ examination are:— Passed first for New Zealand: M’Combe. Elizabeth N.. Naseby Hospital and St. Helens, Invercargill. Passed with 90 per cent, and over: Dyett, Margaret T„ St. Helens Hospital, Dii”crlin. Passed with 75 per cent, and over: ILeicner, Ella M., St. Helens Hospital, Dunedin; Cox, Rose Irene. Batchelor Hospital; Kaye, Esther Alice, and Harvey, Agatha E., Timaru Hospital; Wheatley’ Clarice L., Naseby and St. Helens, Invercargill; Houlihan, Elizabeth M., and Dickel, Nancy M. M., St. Helens Hospital, Invercargill. The following candidates were also successful, gaining 50 per cent, or over:— Rowlands, Jessie R., St. Helens Hospital, Dunedin; Buchan, Christina, and Ilesson, Lily E., Cromwell Hospital.—
