Influenza of a rather severe type has been prevalent throughout the Makaretu district (Hawke’s Bay) lately, in some cases every member of the family being stricken at the same time (reports the Napier Daily Telegraph). The attacks have somewhat abated now, however, and nearly all the sufferers are well again.
