RADIO LICENSES.
z RENEWALS NEGLECTED. WELLINGTON, May 2. Figures supplied by the Telegraph Department show a tardiness in the renewal of radio licenses this year, that is if the licenses are going to be renewed. Twentyfive per cent, of the “ receiving ” licenses have not yet been renewed, the figures in the' four cities being as follows:—
On March 31. 1727 dealers’ licenses were in force, and the number applied for and recorded in head office on April 30 was only 829. This deficiency is not likely to be wholly caught up, as many of the smaller dealers have gone out of business.
