A DRUNKEN MOTORIST.
AUCKLAND DOCTOR IN TROUBLE. AUCKLAND, May 1. Last night a motor car, driven by a doctor, mounted the safety zone in Queen street, and collided with the centre tramway pole. This morning,,, before Mr F. K. Hunt, S.M., the doctor concerned, who had spent the night in the police station, wasreharged with being intoxicated while in charge of a car. He was remanded on bail of £lOO. At counsel’s request the Magistrate ordered that accused’s name should be Suppressed in the meantime.
