In the Magistrate’s Court at Christ, churcht on Wednesday Warwick John Dawson, aged 53, an unregistered dentist, was fined £5, with costs, for practising without a certificate of a registered dental practitioner. It was stated that Dawson was permitted to practise only under the supervision of a fully-qualified man, and had had the opportunity to sit for the examination recently, but had failed. Mr Sargent, for defendant, said the law was more severe on unregistered dentists than on unregistered medical men. Any man could practise medicine so long as he did not pose as a registered medical •
