STAFF CHANGES ANNOUNCED.

WELLINGTON, March 15.

A number of staff changes is contained in this week’s notices of appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers in the New Zealand Military Forces.

Lieutenant-colonel C. E. Andrews relinquishes his appointment as staff officer in charge of No. 2 Regimental District, Paeroa, and is appointed assistant-adjutant and quartermaster-general, Northern Command.

Lieutenant-colonel I. T. Standish, Royal New Zealand Artillery, relinquishes his appointment as assistant adjutant and quartermaster-general, Northern Command, arid is appointed general staff- officer (Ist Grade), Central Command. Major R. A. Row relinquishes his ap pointment as staff officer in charge of No. 10 Regimental District, Christchurch, and is appointed assistant adjutant and quar-termaster-general, Southern Command. Major W. I. K. Jennings having returned to the Dominion on completion of a tour of instruction abroad, ceases to be seconded, and is appointed general staff officer (operation) at general headquarters.

Major S. C. P. Nicholls relinquishes his appointment as assistant adjutant and quartermaster-general, Southern Command, and is appointed general staff officer (training) at general headquarters. Major A. E. Conway relinquishes his appointment a s general staff officer (training) at general headquarters, and is appointed staff officer in charge of No. 8 Regimental District, New Plymouth. Major D. E. Bremner relinquishes his appointment as staff officer in charge of No. 8 Regimental District, Hawera, and is appointed staff officer in charge of No. 10 Regimental District, Christchurch. Captain L. G. Goss relinquishes his appointment as assistant adjutant-general at general headquarters, and- is appointed staff officer in charge of No 2 Regimental District, Paeroa.

Captain A. de T. Ncvill. Royal New Zealand Artillery, relinquishes his appointment as staff captain at artillery general headquarters, and is appointed assistant adjutant-general at general headquarters. Captain G. B. Parkinson, Royal New Zealand Artillery, is appointed staff captain at artillery general headquarters. Mr George M'Namara, to ba colonel, New Zealand Corps of Signals, has been appointed director of signals. Lieutenant-colonel H. A. Reid, New Zealand Veterinary Corps, relinquishes his appointment as assistant director of veterinary service, Central Command.
