— -<£» NEW BROADCASTING CENTRE. PALMERSTON N„ March 7. The Mayor (Mr A. J. Graham) officially opened to-night the Manawatu Radio Club’s new broadcasting station 2ZF, wave-lengtr 283 metres. Mr W A. Waters, the club president, announced that tho aim of the designer in making tho new transmitter was to secure clear speech an c ] music rather than volume. Nevertheless reports were to hand of the station haying been heard during the test transmissions all over New Zealand.
