HE MANUKA.
ocaiLEMENT OF DISPUTE. VESSEL SAILED YESTERDAY. It was announced on Sunday that satisfactory arrangements had been made for a crew to join the Union Company’s passenger steamer Manuka. This marked the termination of the dispute between the company and the original stokehold crew’ of the Manuka regarding the dismissal of a fireman, which resulted, in the ship being held up at Dunedin since last Thursday. The settlement came as-a very welcome relief to the large contingent of passengers. The crew signed articles yesterday morning, and the Manuka sailed late yesterday afternoon for Bluff and Melbourne.
