STORIES OF ARAB RISINGS. LONDON, March 9. Official quarters in Loudon regard the stories and threats of Arab risings in Iraq and Transjordania as much exaggerated. They point out that Ibn Saud’s reported intention of shortly visiting Mesca minimises apprehension, because Ibn would never leave the capital if he was brewing trouble. The indications are that the Dominions Office is ready to with Ibn matters he thinks need redress. NO RECENT RAIDS. LONDON, March 9. ’ . Mr L. S. Amery, in reply to a question, shid that there had been no riirther Wahabi raids on Iraq since February 19. It was questionable whether the gnilty tribesmen still acknowledged the sovereigntx of Ibn Saud. REVOLT AGAINST AIR RAIDS. CAIRO, darch . Sheiks Hafiz and Wahba have arrived from Koweit, where thev -endeavoured to negotiate a settlement. They :o>i tradict the report that Ibn Saud has declared a holy war or is militarily ssist ing the tribesmen. On the contrary, Ibr Saud is making an effort to quieten the tribesmen, who have revolved against the British air raids. --
