A PROVED SUCCESS IN ENGLAND
WELLINGTON, February 27. “ Daylight saving in England has proved to be of inestimable benefit ” said Sir Lindo Ferguson, upon his return by the Tahiti to-day. In Britain there was no chance of its repeal. AU classes derived great benefit, and the objections, most of which were imaginary, had died away. He though the mistake in. New Zealand seemed to be in not giving effect to the measure for fivo months instead of three.
